The Position
The Program Manager, Inspiring the ACT is responsible for the management, planning, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management of the Inspiring Australia program for the ACT. The program aims to support the Australian Government’s vision to engage all Australians with science and build science engagement capability.
Program Manager, Inspiring the ACT is also responsible for working closely with representatives from the Federal and Territory governments to meet the objectives and guidelines of the Inspiring Australia program.
The Person
We seek a dynamic team player with outstanding interpersonal skills who can swiftly establish productive, professional relationships with colleagues and clients. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Science Communication, Professional Science Engagement, or a related field and possess relevant experience in strategic planning, project management, and high-level administrative support. The role requires the ability to coordinate efforts across different units and organizations, manage and deliver workshops and activities, and effectively communicate with diverse individuals both orally and in writing.
