The Position

This is a key role in a friendly, motivated team providing analyses of by-products of zinc smelting via analysis of sphalerite (ZnS) samples from across Australia. This is part of a larger project that will integrate all the analytical data collected from Australian sphalerites.

The Person

We are looking for a qualified geochemist with analytical experience, particularly in trace element analyses. To be considered, applicants must have completed a PhD in geochemistry, with direct evidence of analytical expertise. Successful applicants will have experience in utilising SEM, EPMA and LA-ICPMS instruments.

We are looking for someone who likes challenging problems and encourages team members and colleagues to workshop effective solutions.
