Salary package: $86,960 - $100,098 per annum plus 17% Superannuation 
Term: Full Time, Fixed Term (Up to 5 months) 

  • Design integrated marketing and student recruitment campaigns aimed at building the profile of the College with prospective students and external domestic audiences. 
  • Develop and support events locally and nationally, giving public presentations both independently and with colleagues. Engage with incredible researchers and students, working together to share the ANU experience.
  • Build strong and strategic working relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside the college.
  • Coordinate and manage the college student ambassador program, providing mentoring and training to current students.
  • Communicate the college's program offering to key audiences as required.

Position overview

The Marketing and Student Recruitment Coordinator is an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team. The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences is seeking a marketing and events officer who is energetic, people focused, thrives in a busy environment and has a keen attention to detail. The Marketing and Student Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing student recruitment plans and activities, including publicising events across a variety of digital and channels.

The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU. The College, which is structured into two main research schools, offers degrees in more than 20 discipline areas and excels in research across the creative arts, humanities and social sciences. The College has a substantial international research presence and is a major source of national policy advice. Our academic staff are internationally recognised for their research, and 57 are members of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, the Academy of the Social Sciences of Australia, or both. We also host 13 Australian Research Council Future Fellows and three ARC Laureates. A hub of vibrant activity, we host more than 270 lectures, concerts and exhibitions each year, most of which are open to the public. Our students, staff and graduates come from more than 60 nations, bringing a diversity of perspective to campus life.
