Salary package: $98,387 – $113,252 per annum plus 17% superannuation

About the opportunity
We are seeking experienced marketing communicators to join the ANU College of Systems and Society, with two continuing appointments in the Professional Services Group and the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science.
In these roles, you will help bring the work of the College and Centre to life through compelling storytelling and strategic communications. You will capture and translate research outcomes, educational achievements, and student, staff, and alumni stories into engaging content and marketing materials. Working across print and digital channels, you will maintain a strong and consistent brand identity and contribute to the planning and implementation of communications and engagement initiatives that support strategic priorities. You will also support outreach activities, assisting with the delivery of seminars, workshops, and events. This is a varied role that combines content creation, website and social media management, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination, with occasional travel or out-of-hours work required to support key activities.
About the School/Department
The Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS) has responsibility for teaching, research, public policy and outreach in the field of Science Communication. It is Australia’s largest and leading Centre in the discipline and has existing and emerging partnerships across Australia and internationally. CPAS works with a broad definition of science (including STEM) and science communication to include public engagement, transdisciplinary research for sustainability, responsible innovation, the science/policy interface, and the epistemic, ethical and social aspects of research and technological change.
The Professional Services Group provides expertise that supports the College in the successful delivery of its objectives. We achieve excellence in services by partnering and collaborating with academic staff, students and external partners, through embracing diversity of ideas to coming up with innovative solutions. Our expertise spans across Engagement, Community, Resources, combining strengths across each of these focused areas to identify and build strong collaborative relationships throughout our broad stakeholder base.
