Crawford School of Public Policy - Crawford School of Public Policy is a School within CAP and is Australia’s premier public policy school, with recognised world-class expertise and experience in economics, political science, environmental management and development, and on key Asia-Pacific countries, especially China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as Australia.

The Pacific Security College (PSC) is an innovative partnership between the ANU and the Australian Government with the goal of furthering the Pacific Islands Forum’s Boe Declaration (2018). This position brings interdisciplinary, non-traditional academic perspectives and provides practice-led input in a professional area of interest to the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. 

The Marketing and Pacific Engagement Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the public information and engagement activities for PSC.

The Opportunity
The PSC is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Marketing and Pacific Engagement Manager to lead our communications strategy and foster strong relationships with Pacific Island nations. This role will be crucial in promoting the work of the College, managing public outreach, and engaging directly with Pacific partners and stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping our voice, ensuring that our research and initiatives resonate with a diverse range of audiences, including policymakers, academic institutions, and regional communities.  The role will require the person to travel to the pacific at times.

Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications and broad experience of working in the Pacific and or on national security matters such as climate change, health security, transnational crime and the environment. The candidate will need to be able to take on travel to the Pacific region.
