About the Role 
The Australian National University (ANU) is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Information Technology Services (ITS) Division as Manager, Digital Finance and People Services. This pivotal role will lead the development and delivery of digital services across Finance and Human Resources systems, ensuring ANU remains at the forefront of enterprise technology.

Working under the broad guidance of the Associate Director, Digital University Services, you will champion agile product delivery, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. You’ll collaborate across the University to understand business needs, prioritise initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions that support teaching, learning, research, and administration.

Key Duties:   

  • Lead stakeholder engagement across the University to understand and deliver on digital priorities.
  • Manage the delivery of new features and enhancements to Finance and HR systems using agile methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with strategic goals.
  • Prioritise capabilities and manage product backlogs based on stakeholder needs and available resources.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and advocate for feature development and support.
  • Provide effective leadership and line management to the product team, including mentoring and professional development.
  • Foster a customer-centric and agile culture within the team.
  • Ensure sustainability of implemented systems through coordinated support and documentation.
