Interim University Registrar

Term: Full time, fixed-term

It is anticipated that the role will be a fixed-term of up to 16 months with the potential for extension on an interim basis.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), the University Registrar is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire student lifecycle and supporting the academic mission of the University. The Academic Portfolio is committed to delivering major changes to the ways of working and student experience of teaching and learning. The Registrar plays a key role to transform service delivery and embed a culture of continuous improvement in the University's strategic objective to provide an outstanding educational experience for its students and staff.
The University Registrar plays a vital role in providing an outstanding educational experience for over 22,000 students by ensuring the effective management of critical functions such as enrolments, fees, scholarships, timetabling, examinations, and graduations. The University Registrar ensures compliance with legislative frameworks, manages university accreditation processes and provides strategic advice to the University executive on student and academic matters.
Working closely with ANU Colleges, the academic community, and key Commonwealth authorities, the University Registrar supports the University's educational goals and provides insights on student-related policies and national education standards.
