Position overview 

The Office of the COO is seeking a dynamic Head, Office of the COO to provide senior leadership across core operational, planning, and compliance functions. This role acts as a central coordination point for the COO, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, consistent decision-making, and effective risk management across the Portfolio. You will oversee key relationships with Directors and Executives, guide long-term planning aligned with institutional priorities, and lead the development of high-quality operational communications and briefing materials. The role also strengthens internal capability by supporting staff development, coordinating workload allocation, and maintaining clear escalation pathways.

You have a track record of building productive relationships with senior stakeholders and providing clear, high-quality advice that shapes strategic decision-making. You communicate with clarity, produce polished documentation, and can comfortably represent the COO when required. Above all, you foster a positive, high-performing team culture - supporting staff growth, coordinating priorities, and ensuring the office operates with consistency and transparency.
