Position overview
The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle from when an offer is made to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students and the curriculum management.
An opportunity exists for an individual to take a leading role in the development of optimal business process and IT solutions and projects that support the student administration and service functions of the Division and the University. These include undertaking student system projects, business and functional analysis, business process improvements, user and system support, testing and end user training.
The successful applicant will possess excellent oral and written communication skills; be able to demonstrate a capacity for critical analysis, attention to detail, technical aptitude, an accessible and constructive approach to project work and change requests/management and the ability to work with competing deadlines in a dynamic service based environment. A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of client-based outcomes, be resourceful and show initiative to meet the University’s needs.
Candidates with experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions will be highly regarded.
