Position overview
The Financial Accountant is a member of the Corporate Finance and Financial Reporting team within the Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS).
 
The Financial Accountant is responsible for making a significant contribution to and supporting the production and delivery of high-quality, informative, accurate and timely financial reporting for the University.
 
The Financial Accountant collaborates with and provides high-quality financial reporting, services and advice to stakeholders across the University and has the responsibility to support the delivery of timely information and financial reports to senior management to enable compliance with regulations. They have a strong understanding of financial management principles and provide advice, support and assistance on the implementation of various local and University wide finance related initiatives. The Financial Accountant works with staff within the F&BS team and with finance professionals across the broader University community.
