Finance Officer

Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $87,570- $95,530 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full time, Continuing

The Position

The Australian National University is seeking for a motivated and customer focus finance professionals to  join its Financial Shared Services (FSS) team. FSS delivers a wide range of essential financial operations for the University, including accounts payable and receivable, vendor and customer creation, payments, debtor management, general ledger reconciliations, and asset management.

The Person

We are seeking a Finance Officer who will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Financial Shared Services unit. This position provides high‑quality financial, administrative, and transactional support while ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures.

Ideal applicants will bring strong analytical and numerical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and clear written and verbal communication abilities. Success in this role requires strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, accuracy and timeliness, and a proactive commitment to delivering excellent client service within a collaborative team environment.
