Salary package: $118,399 - $126,607 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview

The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle from when an offer is made through to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students and the curriculum management. The Division also provides advice for appeals, grievance, academic misconduct and discipline processes. 

The Deputy Manager, reports to the Admissions Manager. This position will work closely with ANU Colleges, other key internal stakeholders and with external bodies such as the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) to deliver the university’s admission and compliance obligations.

In close liaison with the Admissions Manager, the Deputy Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all admissions processes including the supervision of staff. A commitment to excellent customer service and service improvement is essential.
