Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Information Technology)
Salary package: $115,511 - $123,519 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, Fixed-term (up to 31 August 2027)
The Position
In this role, the APPN Data Lead will supervise the APPN tech team of three (3) and coordinate the development of computer vision and deep learning tools for the APPN user community.
The Data Lead will implement a data repository for plant phenotyping data, including hyperspectral images, 3D point cloud data, and multiple sensor data streams. All these data need to be stored, analysed, interpreted and made accessible as FAIR datasets to support future re-use and meta-analysis.
The Person
We are looking for a qualified IT specialist with experience in Research Data Management. We seek a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop productive, professional relationships with the team and clients quickly.
Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are key. This role will suit someone who likes challenging problems and encourages team members and colleagues to workshop effective solutions.
