Classification: ANUO5 (Administration)
Salary package: $87,570 - $95,530 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, Continuing
The Position
The College Administration Coordinator provides coordinated operational and administrative support across the ANU College of Science and Medicine, addressing service gaps arising from the centralisation of administrative functions.
Working closely with the College General Manager, School Managers and professional staff across the College, this role acts as a central point of coordination for a wide range of operational activities. From onboarding and staff movements to facilities, resources and workplace support, the position ensures essential services are delivered efficiently and consistently across the College.
This is a varied and hands-on role that plays a key part in keeping the College running smoothly — enabling senior staff and School-based teams to focus on strategic and academic priorities.
The Person
You are a highly organised and proactive administrator with experience coordinating a broad range of operational and business support activities. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and enjoy bringing structure and clarity to complex or fragmented processes.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders. You are confident working both independently and as part of a team, and take initiative to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
Ideally, you bring experience in coordinating functions such as onboarding, facilities or resource management, procurement, or workplace health and safety processes. You are systems-savvy, detail-oriented, and take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable support services.
Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys being the “go-to” person—supporting others, improving processes, and contributing to a positive and efficient working environment. You take pride in making things run smoothly behind the scenes and enabling others to do their best work.
