Classification: ANU Officer Grade 4/5 (Technical)  
Salary package: $75,492 - $90,926 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Continuing, Full time (part-time, job share or a gradual increase in hours will be considered)

The Position

This is a key role in a small friendly and motivated team delivering clinical skills education to medical students enrolled in the 4-year postgraduate medicine program.

The position is face-to-face and is based at Canberra Hospital.  

With no two days being the same, the role is integral to the delivery/support of the clinical skills program.  It is a hands-on and physically active role and includes providing technical support for clinical skills teaching delivery, including set-up and pack-up of clinical skills teaching rooms, care, maintenance and disposal of teaching equipment (simulation equipment, part-task-trainers, consumables), managing equipment and consumables stores, maintaining asset information and servicing documentation, liaising with suppliers, ordering equipment, consumables & supplies; developing knowledge based of simulation training equipment, supporting simulation training sessions.     

The Person

We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed organisational skills, effective self-management and a strong desire to work in a hands-on technically focused education delivery role are key. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy operations environment and who has experience working with technical training equipment or who can quickly acquire an understanding of part-task trainers, manikins, simulators, consumables etc used in clinical education.
