Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $87,570 - $95,530 per annum (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Part-time (0.8FTE), Fixed term (up to 12 months)
The Position
The Clinical Program Officer supports teaching delivery at the Canberra Clinical School, working closely with clinicians, academic staff and students. The role coordinates logistics, timetabling, resources and day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth delivery of the MChD program. It serves as the first point of contact for enquiries, maintains accurate records and systems, and supports committees and project work. This is a hands‑on, face‑to‑face role based primarily at Canberra Hospital, requiring strong stakeholder engagement. The position contributes to a collaborative team focused on high‑quality clinical education.
The Person
We are seeking someone who is highly organised, confident in a fast‑paced clinical education environment, and able to build strong relationships with students, clinicians and colleagues. The ideal candidate shows initiative, enjoys solving operational problems, communicates with clarity, and is comfortable being a reliable point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders across Canberra Hospital.
