The Australian National University is seeking a highly experienced leader to join ANU as its Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and a pivotal member of the University Senior Leadership Group, the Vice-Chancellor’s most senior management committee, the Chief Information Officer will play a crucial role during a pivotal time of transformation. This is an exciting opportunity for an established strategic leader to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiencies, and shape the future of Information Technology and Information Security at one of Australia’s leading universities.
As CIO, you will oversee the development and execution of the ITS strategy and objectives driving a shift towards a unified, efficient IT framework across ANU. The role works with close collaboration with the ANU Executive team, the Strategic Leadership Group, and senior managers across the University.
This role is a unique opportunity for an outstanding leader with exceptional experience in strategic IT management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful, large-scale IT transformations.
