The School of Computing has a strong foundation in computing and information sciences at ANU. We are a transformative centre for research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer systems and software, and theoretical foundations of computing. We span traditional and modern thinking, connecting decades of computer science methodologies with modern data and computational science. Our mission is motivated by the need to design, drive and sustain strategic activities via five broad focus areas: Computing Foundations, Computational Science, Intelligent Systems, Data Science and Analytics, and the Software Innovation Institute. About the opportunity
As a casual sessional academic, you will be involved in the delivery of Computing courses with support, guidance and direction from the course convenor and school staff. Primarily, this will take the form of leading student through activities planned by course convenor (e.g labs, workshops, tutorials). You may also engage in other activities such as running consultations, responding to student questions, and carry out marking of assessment.

• A brief summary of your teaching experience, either at the ANU or another institution and include any relevant industry experience (If you have previously tutored for CECS before, please list courses tutored. Please note that Convenors may be contacted)

• Interview availability will be between 25th May and 5th June 2024. If you are successful for interview you will be contacted regarding an interview time during any of the above dates (please note during this time interviews may be conducted via Zoom).   There are 7 questions to answer. 1-4 being compulsory. You have the option of providing up to 5 preferences. If you only wish to provide 1 preference, then you only need to fill the first preference section. You must provide at least one preference to be considered for the role.
