Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $85,434 - $93,200 per annum (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Part-time (hours negotiable), Continuing
Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to work at the interface between academia and government, supporting research of national and international significance and the development of future Australian Public Service (APS) leaders.
As Administration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Sir Roland Wilson Foundation by providing high level administrative and executive support to Sir Roland Wilson Foundation staff, the Foundation Board, and the scholar and alumni cohorts.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and staff across the ANU, Charles Darwin University (CDU), and APS, the Administration Assistant ensures the effective and efficient delivery of Foundation events and programs and contributes to the delivery of the Foundation’s mission and objectives.
The Person
Are you a highly organised, friendly and proactive administrator looking for a role in a great team that delivers outcomes for the ANU, CDU, and the APS?
Do you thrive on organising events, managing executive diaries, liaising with senior stakeholders, and have excellent communications skills? If so, we would love to hear from you.
As our ideal candidate, you will have demonstrated experience in an executive support or administration role in a complex environment. Experience organising and/or providing logistical support for events will be highly regarded. You will possess strong customer service and communication skills, an ability to organise and plan work, an ability to work effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and strong IT skills.
