We're looking for a 2023 Grounds Officer ANUO3/4

Classification: ANU Officer 3/4 (Grounds)
Casual Rate: $43.26 - $51.93 per hour (including casual loading) plus 10.5% superannuation
Term: Casual

The ANU Landscape and Conservation team at times requires additional casual labor to cover staff absences or meet seasonal demands. Providing the opportunity for you to be part of a multi skilled, professional landscape maintenance team, working in a highly regarded and diverse landscape environment

Position overview

The mission of Facilities and Services Division is to "Enable academic excellence at ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery."  The four key portfolios are Corporate and Client Services, Maintenance, Operations and Projects.

The Operations portfolio has the responsibility for managing and coordinating the delivery of operational services within the Division. This includes delivery of Sustainability programs and projects for the University along with management of the functions of Cleaning, Waste, Recycling, Landscape and Conservation, Security and Remote Sites.

The Landscape and Conservation Team provides a range of grounds maintenance and landscaping services on campus, including the maintenance of landscapes, playing fields, roads and footpaths

The Grounds Officer plays a key role in the provision of landscaping and horticulture services to support the maintenance and growth of the university's landscape asset.
