Position overview

The mission of Facilities and Services Division is to "Enable academic excellence at ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery."  The four key portfolios are Corporate and Client Services, Maintenance, Operations and Projects.

The Operations portfolio has the responsibility for managing and coordinating the delivery of operational services within the Division. This includes delivery of Sustainability programs and projects for the University along with management of the functions of Cleaning, Waste, Recycling, Gardens and Grounds, Security and Remote Sites.

The Unisafe Administration Assistant works under the direction of the Security Operations Manager to undertake a broad range of administrative tasks relating to day-to-day activities, acting as a first point of contact for administrative services and providing high level support to a variety of stakeholders including staff, students and visitors, working in partnership with team members and all areas of the University.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have strong administrative and support skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple projects, stakeholders and competing deadlines in a dynamic administrative environment. Demonstrated level of customer service and communication skills with experience producing business correspondence, reports and meeting papers and an ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment.

The successful applicant will be flexible and resourceful with a demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high-quality outcomes to meet the needs of the Facilities & Services Division and University. Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and delivering high quality outcomes.

Experience in security systems such as Gallagher and administration will be highly regarded.
