Position overview

The Senior Research Management Administration Officer is a part of the Research Management team in the College of Science administration. This is a key administrative role delivering high quality administrative research management services to scientists within a supportive team environment.

The successful applicant will be an experienced administrator with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and interpret and provide strategic advice on policy and funding guidelines pertaining to grant applications.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in research management (preferably with grant review experience), a strong customer service focus with well-developed liaison skills, and the ability to exercise judgement and initiative. Excellent administration and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to problem solve and work cooperatively as a member of a team.

Science qualifications, including science communication, will be highly regarded. An interest in science and/or medicine is a must!
