The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is one of the premier engineering and computer science research institutions in the world. CECS collaborates on research projects with government departments (federal and state) and multinational corporations, helping to accelerate research and development programs and to introduce new technologies to the marketplace.
The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) Community team exists to promote, support and foster better outcomes for our community both within and outside the College. Services delivered by the Community team enable better collective outcomes and contribute to the overarching (College-wide) strategy objectives.
Under the broad direction of the College General Manager, the Service Leader (Community) works in collaboration with senior staff in the College and its academic and service units. The Service Leader (Community) liaises closely with the College Dean, College General Manager, Deputy and Associate Deans, and Heads of academic units regarding community in the College. The Service Leader, and staff in the Resources team also work closely with the wider ANU to build professional relationships and advance the University’s Resources capability to create an environment that supports staff and students in the pursuit of excellence. The Service Leader (Community) also represents the College in the development of University policies and procedures, and in engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.
The Service Leader is responsible for the outcomes of their teams, including the day to day operation, future strategy and teams within. The context of the role is to provides high quality service to stakeholders in the College community and its stakeholders.
To excel in this role you will have experience in communication, relationship management, or business development roles and will demonstrate:

- A commitment to collaboration, consultation and inclusion
