Position overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and enthusiastic procurement professional to join the Australian National University's Procurement and Contract Office (UPCO).
The Procurement Officer is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, conducting end to end procurement activities, identifying and executing savings initiatives whilst improving quality of services and reducing risk. As well as providing professional advice and assistance for the provision of procurement services to the University.
To be successful in this role you will require experience in direct/indirect categories, high calibre communication and engagement skills, knowledge of best practice procurement processes, a genuine commitment to value creation and the ability to deliver high quality outcomes.
