The ANU International Office is currently recruiting for an Office and Events Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join and contribute to a dynamic team focused on building international capability and outreach across the University. This role plays a key role supporting the Director and the Office's activities through administrative and events support. Our ideal candidate will be personable, team-focussed and able to provide a high level of customer service, with excellent attention to detail and commitment to collaboration and consultation.

Position overview

The ANU International Office provides high-level support and advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International Strategy) and ANU, working closely and collaboratively with the wider ANU community to deliver on the University’s strategic goals. The Office provides a coordinating role for international agreement making and management, develops and nurtures partnerships with key international partners and alliances, and provides briefings, research and analysis on the University's international engagement. Through the Global Programs team, the Office is responsible for the University's Learning Abroad programs.

This position under the supervision of the Director is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Office and support for events, visits and travel. The position holder will be required to engage with a wide range of senior international and domestic stakeholders and will require the position holder to exercise judgment, discretion and diplomatic nous.  Previous client facing experience will be highly regarded.
