Position overview

The Australian Research Data Commons is a Commonwealth-funded national research infrastructure facility within the NCRIS program. The ARDC is a transformational initiative that enables Australian research community and industry access to nationally significant, leading edge data intensive e-Infrastructure, platforms, skills and collections of high-quality data.

The ARDC’s Health Studies Australian National Data Asset (HeSANDA) program aims to build the national infrastructure required to support the sharing and reuse of health research data in a way that would bring value to the research community, increase the efficiency of research, and provide benefits for the health of Australia’s population.

The Research Data Specialist (Health & Medical) in the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) has a key role to play in identifying, designing, and implementing services and programs to enhance health and medical research by enabling better data management, use, re-use, and sharing through the Health Studies National Data Asset (HeSANDA) Program.
