Position overview

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT and AV services to ANU staff, students and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, teaching and public policy. These services include AV over IP networks, communications, computing platforms, data storage, Cloud and On-Premise access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. The work of ITS is coordinated with services provided within and by University Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive, University-wide information services infrastructure. The AV Services team maintains the AV systems to the University (400+ rooms), provides soft video conferencing services and assists other areas of the university with consultation and project management services. 

The work of the Project Manager (AV) will span across the AV Capital of works, College and ITS based AV Projects requiring a strong understanding of integrated AV Systems, with a strong knowledge of the delivery of IP based AV systems and associated ICT infrastructure.

The successful applicant will have experience with building programmes in general and electrical engineering in particular with a proven hands-on AV installation work of benefit. Having a high context communication style is essential with the ability to lead, contribute and maintain the AV program of works. Accreditation in enterprise grade AV systems, Infocomm certification, CTS and Crestron Digital Media Certification will be highly regarded.
