The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research School of Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.
For over 15 years, the Australian Phenomics Facility (APF), within the John Curtin School of Medical Research and Phenomics Australia have been providing Australian biomedical researchers access to the tools and laboratory models to support large-scale, systematic study of gene function in follow up to genomics analyses of patients with serious disease. The recent establishment of the Phenomics Translation Initiative will expand services and capacity offered by the APF. Under the direction and supervision of the Phenogenomics Research Projects Manager, the Senior Technical Officer will provide leadership in phenotyping support to deliver the Phenomics Translation Initiative and Phenomics Australia capabilities within The Australian Phenomics Facility.
