Salary package: $73,309 - $92,015 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Crawford School is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to support a research project funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research on ‘Understanding the drivers of successful and inclusive rural regional transformation: Sharing experiences and policy advice in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia and Pakistan’.
At ANU, the project is led and implemented by the Crawford School of Public Policy. The project is implemented in collaboration with several partners in Australian, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia and Pakistan, including University of Western Australia, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development, China Centre for Agricultural Policy (CCAP) of Beijing University, Indonesia Centre for Agriculture, Socio, Economic and Policy Studies (ICASEPS), Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia, Bogor Agricultural University of Indonesia, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, and Pakistan Agricultural Research Council.
The project aims to understand the nature, drivers and consequences of rural transformation in order to design changes in the institutions, policies and investments (IPIs) which support success. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work with the research teams to establish the analytical framework for the project, manage relevant data, and undertake the regional and the inter-country comparison study, and possibility of travel.
This is a fixed term contract commencing in January 2021 for a period of up to three years.
