Classification: ANU Officer Grade 6 (Maintenance)
Salary package : $80,756, $84,451 per annum plus 17% superannuation, plus tool, industry and trade allowances

The mission of Facilities and Services Division is to "Enable academic excellence at ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery." The four key portfolios are Operations, Projects, Maintenance and Corporate & Client Services.
The Maintenance portfolio has responsibility for the delivery of all maintenance activities at the ANU. This encompasses the management and delivery of all statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance, asset management initiatives and capital renewal programmes.
The Facilities and Services Division seeks to engage a Plumbing Services Supervisor to move the focus of maintenance services to a preventative service model through its people and enhancing business processes and supporting systems.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Plumbing Services Supervisor is responsible for delivering effective, timely and high quality statutory, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance services and minor capital works across the University. The Supervisor will have responsibility for supervising and monitoring performance of works undertaken by external contractors engaged for statutory, preventative corrective and reactive maintenance services and minor capital works.
To be successful for the position you will possess a post trade certificate or advanced certificate plus extensive relevant experience and hold the appropriate trade licence. You will have a strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills and can demonstrate your ability to effectively lead a small team of trade staff undertaking high quality, complex works within a client service delivery environment.
