The Deputy Director, Student Recruitment is a key role, working with the Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment in delivering the University’s strategy to attract students from a diverse range of societal and cultural backgrounds to study at ANU.
It is a six month paternity leave position within the Marketing and Student Recruitment Division (MSRD) which brings together international and domestic recruitment, strategy, market research, marketing, advertising, website, social media engagement and creative design at ANU. The Deputy Director, Marketing and Student Recruitment is responsible for leading the Student Recruitment and Future Student Experience teams within the broader division.
The successful candidate will have a sophisticated understanding of domestic and international higher education market trends and directions, contemporary recruitment practices and marketing methods. They also must be able to embrace change, take calculated risks and have proven ability to lead and manage a team of diverse staff while delivering outcomes within budget.
