Position overview

The Australian National University is seeking a skilled and experienced case coordinator with a passion for addressing sexism, sexual assault and sexual harassment and working with the University to bring about cultural change to create the University’s vision of a fully inclusive campus which is safe for all staff and students. Reporting to the Manager, Respectful Relationships Unit, the Case Coordination, Response and Referral Officer will act as a subject matter expert of trauma informed case coordination with a focus on improved access to supported disclosure, information, supports and further resources.

Responsible for providing high quality information and case coordination for those affected by sexual assault or sexual harassment; for education and training programs for both staff and students; the communication of policies, procedures and developments; and for establishing comprehensive, centralised data collection and reporting systems. 

Managing a range of cases, the Case Coordination, Response and Referral Officer will identify and provide a range of secondary interventions including access to appropriate information, referrals and engage other internal and external stakeholders. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with in-depth knowledge of a trauma informed approach to case coordination, demonstrated experience in coordinating information provision, support services and response and high-level communication skills. To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated technical skills in maintaining confidential records, continuous monitoring and review of practice and experience in creating and delivering a range of reports, seminars, training and provide professional advice and coaching to managers and employees in regards to responding to disclosures.
