Position overview

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT services to ANU staff, students and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, teaching and public policy. These services include network, communications, computing platforms, data storage, desktop and mobile access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. The work of ITS is coordinated with services provided within and by University Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive, University-wide information services infrastructure. The AV Services team maintains the AV systems to the University (200+ rooms), provides video conferencing services and assists other areas of the university with AV support, consultation and project management services. 

The successful applicant will be required to perform routine checks, fault diagnosis and maintenance of Audio Visual (A/V) and associated equipment including specialised services such as Video Conferencing. You will also respond to service callouts, conduct fault diagnosis and onsite repair of the AV equipment; you will also use Crestron Fusion to remotely monitor and support teaching spaces and will maintain, via a database, a detailed record of fault conditions and action taken. 

Accreditation in enterprise grade AV systems, Infocomm certification or BICSI cabling licence would be advantageous.
