Position overview
The College of Business and Economics (CBE) aims to provide our students and alumni with excellent professional development platforms for a successful global career. The Student Employability Manager will lead a dedicated student-facing team responsible for the implementation of work integrated learning programs for current CBE students as well as professional skill development initiatives and career opportunities for CBE students and alumni.
 
The Student Employability Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the team (including Business and Economics Career Consultants, Student Engagement Coordinators, Beijing-based Student Employability and Industry Engagement Officer, and Student Ambassadors). The manager has responsibility for ensuring effective development and implementation of multi-phased and multi-faceted employability programs and initiatives for all CBE students and graduates.
 
The Manager will take a holistic response to the student experience and forge strong relationships across the University, particularly ANU Student Experience and Career Development  (Division of Student Life), and with multiple industry partners. The Student Employability Manager will lead the ongoing improvement of College practices and processes in these areas and ensure they are aligned with CBE strategic and operational goals.
