Position overview

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) aims to provide our students and alumni with excellent professional development platforms for a successful global career. The Business and Economics Career Consultants will work within the CBE Student Employability team which delivers work integrated learning and professional development programs and initiatives, and career development support and employment opportunities for CBE students and alumni.
 
This role takes a developmental approach across the student life-cycle, in designing, developing and delivering targeted career education in collaboration with stakeholders, including students, alumni, academic staff, employers, and industry partners.
 
The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the employment outcomes of university students, have a well developed understanding of the graduate employment market and student employment pathways (preferably in business and finance related fields), and be confident in establishing rapport and linkages with industry partners, university staff and students.
