The Australian National University (ANU) is embarking on a major business transformation project to revolutionise the support mechanism for ANU researchers. The Research Information Management System Project (RIMS) has a significant budget and will be delivered in three phases over two years.

The RIMS Project seeks to go beyond administrative efficiency and drive priorities from the perspective of researchers, addressing multiple key business challenges within research, including marketing, publication profiling, open access, individual & research group web presence and institutional reporting. The Project provides a major opportunity to create a world leading research support system and administrative structure at the ANU.

Position Overview

The Business Transformation Manager will be key role in the Research Information Management System business transformation program and is responsible for identifying and implementing effective operational changes to business processes, and will drive change by designing and delivering training to ensure business improvements are embedded within the new research management framework. 

The successful applicant will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a thorough understanding of organisational dynamics, business processes, policies, tools and methodologies relevant to the Higher Education Sector. They will also be required to work closely and effectively with all other members of the project.
