The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research School of Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.
The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) is Australia's national medical research institute. The School conducts innovative, ground-breaking, multidisciplinary medical research in a number of medical fields including immunology, neuroscience, genomics, infectious diseases and cancer.
The Senior Outreach and Communications Officer reports directly to the School Manager JCSMR and liaises closely with the Director, JCSMR. The Senior Outreach and Communications Officer is also required to work closely with academic and professional staff and students within the School, University and alumni and external organisations. The main focus of the role is to manage and coordinate all aspects of the organisation of outreach events, interactive public activities, seminars and conference events.
