Position overview

The position is part of the Student Administration and Records (STAR) office, in the Division of Student Administration (DSA).  Under the routine supervision of the Senior Student Administration & Records Officer the successful candidate will work in the STAR team administering aspects of the research student lifecycle.  The role sits within a very busy office requiring versatility, integrity, flexibility and resilience.   The successful candidate will be required to make scholarship offers, add enrolment and process applications to vary student enrolments and scholarships.  Communication with University staff and students is also a significant part of the role in order to deliver practical and supportive outcomes for students.

The Division of Student Administration contributes to the University's strategic objective to provide an excellent educational experience for its students through delivery of accessible and supportive administrative functions throughout the student lifecycle. The Division's student related support services include the management of: enrolment and progression;  fee invoicing and cashiering; scholarships; examinations; prizes; graduations; timetabling; general enquiries; student card; transcripts;  student communications and quality advice on ANU student related policy and rules as well as compliance with national and international regulations.
