The Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow will join the T-cell Immune Mechanism, Monitoring and Modulation Laboratory led by Associate Professor Di Yu within the Department Immunology and Infectious Disease, The John Curtin School of Medical Research at The Australian National University. The area of study stems from a recent publication by the research group (Leong YA et al. Nature Immunology, 2016) and an NHMRC funded project focussing on the role of a recently identified cytotoxic T cell subset in infectious disease and cancer using cutting edge genomic technologies, genetically modified animals and animal disease models.
The successful candidate will have experience and a strong track record in immunology, molecular and cell biology, or a related area. Previous experience specifically in CD8+ T cells (ideally working with infectious and/or cancer models) is essential for Research Fellow.
