The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region. The School of Culture, History and Language is the focus of research and teaching in Asian and Pacific humanities, social sciences and languages and seeks to build excellence in understanding and capability in engaging with the Asia and Pacific region. The key disciplines that are represented in the School are anthropology, archaeology, cultural studies, gender studies, history, linguistics, and languages, all contributing to the foundational knowledge of Asia and the Pacific.
The School seeks an experienced language teacher with advanced proficiency in Tok Pisin to develop a portfolio of online courses using the ANU Learning Management System. Reporting to the Deputy Director (Languages) and working with members of the Pacific Institute, other language educators, and the Digital Education Services team, the position will have a leadership role in the development of best-practice online language programs in the College.

While this position is advertised as full-time, a part-time appointment may be considered for the right applicant. Due to the holiday period, it is anticipated that shortlisting and interviews will take place in January.
