Position overview 


The ANU Service Improvement Group is seeking experienced Project Managers (multiple roles) to work with business areas within the University to help them achieve their business strategies through tailored, efficient and effective Program and Project Management.

The Service Improvement Group is a team that works with stakeholders from across the University to promote and drive business transformation through core strategic projects. The group is comprised of a program management office, a digital transformation team, and high quality project managers with knowledge and experience in consulting, engineering and project management from a range of industries. 

About You

Your challenge is to take projects from conception to completion, including transition to operations. Possessing a gift for negotiation and diplomacy, you will work across traditional functional boundaries to resolve complex issues and gain consensus amongst a diverse group of stakeholders.

We are looking for talented individuals who are focussed on providing a customer centric experience.  Applicants should have a solid track record of delivering business transformation and change across large and complex organisations.  We are looking for excellent communicators with great stakeholder engagement skills to lead and revolutionise service delivery through utilising data, analytics and rapid improvement methodologies.

This opportunity is ideal for applicants working as Project Managers in the Higher Education sector, Government sector, independent consultants, or someone working within a consulting organisation who wants to work as part of an internal consulting team and see projects through from concept to implementation and beyond.
