Salary package: $60,260 -$65,487 per annum plus 17% Superannuation

The ANU Medical School educates and develops medical graduates that practise medicine with compassion, conscience and professional excellence and extends the boundaries of medical knowledge through research, sharing this knowledge with patients and colleagues, locally, nationally and internationally. The School partners with a number of healthcare organisations including ACT Health, Calvary Healthcare ACT, hospitals and community practices throughout the ACT, south east region of NSW and in remote NT to provide early and regular access to clinical teaching and training. The Medical School is committed to extending the boundaries of medical knowledge through research, and in providing a research led educational experience. Research spans a wide range of medical disciplines, with laboratories and offices at Acton Campus and the Canberra Hospital Campus. Collaboration encompasses ANU medical and health sciences, and universities, governments and industry bodies, attracting national and international researchers and higher degree research candidates. The Medical School operates in accordance with the Australian Medical Council accreditation standards for education, training and assessment in all phases of medical education.
The Project Support Assistant will assist in the delivery of the activities of the Australian Child and Adolescent Trauma, Loss and Grief Network (ACATLGN). ACATLGN is part of the consortium delivering the National Workforce Centre for Child Mental Health, a national network that will transform the delivery of support for children at risk of mental health difficulties through new innovative approaches. The Network works from the ANU Medical School which is located at The Canberra Hospital.
The successful applicant will have strong administration skills as well as excellent communication skills, a high level of time management and attention to detail in administrative tasks/processes with demonstrated ability to plan and organise own workload, determine priorities and meet conflicting deadlines.
