Salary package: $66,904 - $73,309 (pro rata) plus 9.5% Super

The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is the largest single College of seven Colleges at ANU. The College, which is structured into two main research schools, offers degrees in more than 20 discipline areas and excels in research across the creative arts, humanities and social sciences. The College has a substantial international research presence and is a major source of national policy advice. Our academic staff are internationally recognised for their research, and 57 are members of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, the Academy of the Social Sciences of Australia, or both. We also host 13 Australian Research Council Future Fellows and two ARC Laureates. A hub of vibrant activity, we host more than 270 lectures, concerts and exhibitions each year, most of which are open to the public. Right now we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic HR Officer who is keen for the opportunity to continue to grow their Human Resources career. You will be part of our fun and friendly HR team who strive to create a dynamic workplace culture.
The HR Officer works closely with the other members of the HR team and with HR practitioners in the Human Resources Division (HRD), liaising with, and providing quality HR advice and service to a wide variety of staff and visitors. The HR Officer is responsible for the provision of day-to-day generalist HR advice and services, ensuring data accuracy and integrity and timely escalation of more complex human resources aspects to the relevant team members.
To be successful in this role you must have demonstrated HR generalist experience with proven HR information system experience. A high level of both communication and attention to detail while meeting competing deadlines is also required. Industry membership, relevant training/qualifications and experience using Page Up or People soft programs are desirable.
