The ANU Service Improvement Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive the current Workers’ Compensation Self Insurance Project and work across traditional functional boundaries to resolve complex issues and gain consensus amongst a diverse group of stakeholders.
The role will lead the delivery of a high profile project that will improve safety management systems, including administrative structures and processes that support a positive work health and safety culture that enables effective injury prevention through to rehabilitation and claims management. This project will engage academic and professional staff to deliver a target state design for a self-insurance environment through streamlining, standardisation, technology and effective operating models.
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of the project, working directly with the Director Human Resources as business owner.
The ideal applicant will have an understanding of management systems, including the implementation and delivery of IT systems within a regulatory framework. Experience relating to health and safety is highly desirable.
The Service Improvement Group is a team that works with stakeholders from across the University to promote and drive business transformation through core strategic projects. The group is comprised of a program management office, a digital transformation team, and high quality project managers with knowledge and experience in consulting, engineering and project management from a range of industries.
Your challenge is to deliver this project in a complex and highly devolved stakeholder environment. Possessing a gift for negotiation and diplomacy, you will work across traditional functional boundaries to resolve complex issues and gain consensus amongst a diverse group of stakeholders.
