  • Academic Level B: $94,287 - $107,381 per annum plus 17% superannuation
  • Academic Level C: $113,929 - $127,025 per annum plus 17% superannuation
  • Academic Level D: $136,843 - $145,576 per annum plus 17% superannuation
  • Academic Level E: $169,586 - $179,846 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview

The ANU Law School, part of the ANU College of Law, seeks to appoint enthusiastic, engaged and talented academics to continuing positions in a community of legal scholars that is known nationally and internationally for its cutting-edge research, innovation in legal education, and commitment to the enduring challenges of law reform and social justice.

The ANU College of Law is recognised as one of Australia’s leaders in legal research and education.  Law researchers at ANU have achieved the top ERA 5 ranking in all three ERA rounds (2010, 2012, 2015).

In the 2017 appointment we seek to appoint academics who have established or emerging records of excellence and who have the ability and drive to build on the Law School’s research and teaching in one or more of the following areas: Administrative Law; Commercial Law; Constitutional Law; Contracts; Corporate Law; Evidence; Intellectual Property; Litigation & Dispute Management; Public International Law; Torts. 

Successful applicants will share the commitment which the College places on supporting staff to reach their full potential in an environment of collegiality and respect for diversity.

Level D and E appointees will be expected to take on leadership and mentoring roles, sharing their experience and passion with early and mid-career colleagues.
