Salary package: $66,904 - $73,309 per annum + 17% superannuation

Operations and Project Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day
operations of the ANU Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Plant
Energy Biology assisting in a variety of administrative tasks requiring you to liaise
with various local, college and external business units. You will also
provide guidance and support for centre academic staff and students as well as
assisting the laboratory manager and other CoE nodes with financial and annual
reporting. You will also organise, administer and attend meetings of staff and
students within the Node. If you are highly organised, personable and

Operations & Projects officer reports to the chief investigators and
Laboratory Manager, ARC Centre of Excellence for Plant Energy Biology. This
position coordinates the administrative tasks and assists in the financial
activities of the Node, liaising with the Node's Deputy Director, Chief
Investigators, and the 30-50 people associated with the Centre, primarily
scientists, professional staff and students. In addition to maintaining close
working relationships with ANU Node CoE Chief Investigators and the Senior
Technical Officer, the Operations & Projects Officer interacts and works
closely with key School, College, University and CoE administrative personnel,
and liaises with Centre administration staff at the University of Western
Australia. This position is located within the Research School of Biology (RSB)
which forms part of the ANU College of Medicine, Biology & Environment.
This position is responsive to the School Manager, RSB with respect to
administrative compliance and safety aspects of the role.

The John Curtin School of Medical Research, the Research School of Biology, the
